Mahi On Light Tackle

We had a great time on this day. The fish of the day was a feisty mahi that was caught on spinning gear at anchor. The fish leaped out of the water so many times at close quarters. It was spectacular! Well, no, maybe the most spectacular fish was the sailfish caught at the end of the day. It was a double sailfish hookup and one got off. Chris got to handle the fish at boat side and the whole crew was involved with the release process. I think this really makes for a great experience when anglers get truly involved in the fishing.
