Nice Cobia Guys!

What a beautiful November day for offshore fishing. A two person Charter is awesome for me and my guests. Dave and Rob had a great day filled with lots of hard fighting fish. With a small group, I really get to focus on helping folks catch fish by doing a little coaching and passing on some more subtle tips that make a difference. Sometimes I even get to drop a bait in the water! This day was full of hard bights and lots of success but there were many cases where the fish won. This makes it so sweet when you get redeption! Here’s Scott holding the sweetest fish of the day. A good sized cobia he caught while bottom fishing. Scott played this fish like a pro. He muscled the fish off the bottom and kept him out of the rocks and then played him just right when he came to the surface by loosening the drag and letting him strip some line as it ran all around the boat. Great job Rob!
