Passing the Torch

Bill and Susan from Wisconsin, wanted to get their grand daughter Nixie out for some fishing and show her the beauty of nature in our area. She loved all the birds and dolphins as we fished on this cloudy afternoon. I think Bill and Sue may have inadvertently turned her into a fishing girl. We were catching hard fighting jack crevalle and at first she squealed and cried “help”as the fish pulled hard every wich way. She caught on quick as she watched grand pops technique of lifting the rod to battle the fish rather than just wind. By the end of the trip she was fighting the fish like a pro. The best part of my job as a guide is to witness fun family moments that will be remembered for years and perhaps even mold young peoples lifes. It was a fun family outing for sure.
