Dale, Jim and I went offshore and enjoyed some nice January sea conditions. We caught fish all day long out on the reefs including trigger fish, snapper, and shark. The biggest fun of the day was when Jim hooked into something big and after an epic battle brought up a 200+ pound shark. These guys liked to give each other a hard time (in a fun way) so Jim was feeling pretty good about the catch until Dale hooked into one of equal size. Both of the giants were wore out and photographed at boat side, then released. I think the war is still waging about whose fish was bigger. Sharing a great day of fishing with a long time fishing buddy is something special alright. I’m glad I was there.
