Family Fun Offshore

Amanda's family had a blast fishing out in the ocean. The kids said they wanted to catch a shark and boy did they ever. The sharks were thick on several spots and the youngsters had so much fun battling with them on relatively light fishing poles. It was neat to see them gain respect for the toothy creatures and the power they have. As they watched me handle them, they learned about the anatomy and eventually the kids got up the courage to hold and touch them. I kept a steady grip and they joined in. I could tell it was a thrill for them. We caught lots of other species too that made for an excellent family fishing day.
