Fishing Teaches us About Life
Tony and his two sons, Tony Jr. and Fred, joined me for some inshore fishing this morning. Mother ocean was choppy so we fished the flats and inside the inlet around Sebastian. The bite was not great but the crew kept their great attitude as we enjoyed catching some little fish here and there. Near the end of the morning, Big Tony hooked a giant redfish and the fight was on as it screeched the drag like no other. We had to start the boat and chase after the beast. The feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction was great when the big bull redfish came aboard. Fishing success is a lot about confidence and optimism and this crew was rewarded richly for it. I have a feeling these fine young men will carry this attitude that there father has taught them throughout life and the result will be the same.
