A Trout Goes for an Unusual Swim

Richard, Corey and Mike from South Carolina got to town, jumped on a boat and and fished every chance they could for 4 days. I took them out twice and Capt. Ryan took them out 3 times. Late one afternoon we decided to hunker down and fish through an oncoming rain cloud. Well, these guys proceeded to fish in a driving rain for a solid forty five minutes while catching one trout after the other. It rained so much that at one point a trout was dropped on the deck and it literally swam around in my boat till I could chase it down. We caught lots of nice reds, snook, trout and other stuff but I’ll never forget that chunky trout darting around underwater in my boat. These guys were true hardcore fishermen and just plain fun to fish with.
