Sons Take Dad Fishing

The Dad (John) had been through a tough patch for many months so it was a real pleasure to enjoy a good day of fishing with him and his two sons, Chris and Vic. We caught Kingfish, bonita, red snapper, mangrove snapper and cobia this day but there was something larger than just catching fish in the air. It was a day where the boys finally had a chance to travel cross country and treat their father to a day of fishing. As the morning progressed and John fought and landed many nice fish, he grew

tired, but that ole fishing flame was rekindled and he was unstoppable. At the end of the day I could read the smiling faces of the crew. The elderly fisherman was proud and satisfied that he was able to muster that long dormant fishing magic that he spoke about from years gone by. The boys were warmed by the experience like they were a part of one of those hallmark movies that always turn out wonderful. It was a good day to be a captain.
