Guide Trip Pays Off

Allan and Andrea hired me to show them around the fishing areas in Sebastian using their boat. They were new to the area and were spending a week here, so they needed a kick start. I showed them quite a bit in our 4 hour inshore trip including: how to navigate in the river; safety around Sebastian Inlet; tide adjustments; where to catch bait; and where and when to fish for several species that were biting in our area. I was very happy to hear from them a couple days later. They were having a nice week and felt like the knowledge I passed on really helped them. One early evening they fished a backcountry spot I had showed them and landed this sweet tarpon on light tackle. It’s satisfying to know I helped them have a fun, safe and productive fishing vacation.
